Privacy policy

Your privacy matters to us.

25Bit Echo is committed to protecting your personal information and being transparent about how we collect, use, and store any data you share with us. This policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and what your rights are.

Who we are

25Bit Echo is a boutique voice studio based in Kent, UK. For the purposes of UK data protection law, we are the data controller for any personal information collected through this website.

If you have any questions about this policy or how we handle your data, you can contact us using the enquiry form on our website.

What data we collect and why

Contact form submissions

When you submit our contact form, we collect your name, email address, the type of enquiry you've selected, and any message you provide. We use this information solely to respond to your enquiry. This data is processed on the basis of your consent — by submitting the form, you are asking us to get in touch with you.

We do not add your details to any mailing list or use them for any purpose beyond responding to your message.

Google reCAPTCHA

Our contact form uses Google reCAPTCHA v2, provided by Google LLC, to help prevent spam submissions. When you interact with the reCAPTCHA widget, Google may collect information including your IP address and browser behaviour to determine whether you are a human or a bot. This data is sent to and processed by Google under their own privacy policy. For more information, see Google's privacy policy (opens in a new tab).

Google Fonts

This website uses Google Fonts, a service provided by Google LLC. When you visit the site, your browser may request font files from Google's servers. This means Google may receive your IP address as part of that request. Google Fonts is used solely for visual presentation and does not track you or set cookies. For more information, see Google's privacy policy.

Netlify hosting and form storage

This website is hosted by Netlify, Inc. When you submit our contact form, your name, email address, enquiry type, and message are stored by Netlify on our behalf. Netlify may also log standard server data such as IP addresses and request timestamps as part of normal hosting infrastructure. Netlify acts as a data processor under our instruction. For more information, see Netlify's privacy policy (opens in a new tab).

Netlify Analytics

We use Netlify Analytics to understand how our website is used. This is a server-side analytics tool that does not use cookies, does not track you across websites, and does not collect any personally identifiable information. It provides us with aggregate data such as page view counts and general geographic regions (country level). No data is shared with third-party advertising platforms.

ElevenLabs

Tamsin's AI voice is available to license via ElevenLabs (opens in a new tab), a third-party platform. When you click through to ElevenLabs from our site, any data you provide — including account registration and payment information — is collected and processed directly by ElevenLabs under their own privacy policy and terms. We do not receive or store any data you share with ElevenLabs. For more information, see ElevenLabs' privacy policy (opens in a new tab).

Gumroad shop and follow form

We sell AI voice packs through our Gumroad shop (opens in a new tab), operated by Gumroad, Inc. When you purchase a product or follow our shop, you are transacting directly with Gumroad. Any personal data you provide during checkout or when signing up to follow us — including your email address — is collected and processed by Gumroad under their own privacy policy and terms of service.

Our website includes a follow form that submits your email address directly to Gumroad so you can be notified when new packs are released. By submitting your email via this form, you are consenting to Gumroad storing and using your email address for that purpose. We do not store or have access to the email addresses submitted through this form. For more information, see Gumroad's privacy policy (opens in a new tab).

Cookies

This website does not use cookies. We do not set any tracking, advertising, or analytics cookies on your device. Netlify Analytics, which we use to understand general site usage, is a server-side tool that operates without cookies entirely.

Third-party services linked from this site — including Gumroad and ElevenLabs — may set their own cookies when you visit their platforms. Those cookies are governed by their respective privacy policies, not ours.

What we do not do

  • We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.
  • We do not use cookies for tracking or advertising.
  • We do not build profiles on individual visitors.
  • We do not use any third-party advertising or retargeting scripts.

How long we keep your data

If you contact us via the form, we will retain your message and contact details for as long as is reasonably necessary to manage our correspondence with you — typically no longer than 12 months after our last exchange, unless we have an ongoing business relationship or a legal reason to retain it longer.

International data transfers

Netlify and Gumroad are both US-based companies. Where your data is transferred outside the UK, it is subject to appropriate safeguards in line with UK data protection law. For details, see Netlify's privacy policy (opens in a new tab) and Gumroad's privacy policy (opens in a new tab).

Your rights

Under UK data protection law (UK GDPR), you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your data
  • Withdraw consent at any time (where processing is based on consent)
  • Object to processing or request restriction of processing
  • Lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO)

To exercise any of these rights, please contact us using the form on our website. We will respond within one month.
